an abandoned house.
Every little dream has a beginning. Ours began with an old, abandoned house in the mountains of Jibhi. After years of travelling, volunteering at hostels and dreaming of a place of our own, we found it — empty for nearly a decade, with no proper kitchen, no washrooms and a roof that needed plenty of work. But it had a beautiful view, and the potential to become something special.
So we took a chance. Lots of restoration, endless planning, tight budgets — and in April 2024, Bleeblu opened its doors. We shared the journey online, and somehow our very first reel went viral. Then the community came: conversations over coffee, familiar faces, travellers who stayed longer than planned, and strangers who left as friends.
